just another manic monday....

howdy there, welcome to Monday - a good Monday - a lot tired and mostly content which means a mostly productive day spent working for the man. Spent the weekend near Kingston NB at the Sunseekers Ball in company of lots of good pals and fun times... Amazing Music; Bootyjuice, The Wassabi Collective, Sidecar radio, Tala, Burt Neilson - who sound amazingly different but so good, The Jimmy Swift Band - who had Melissa up from Wassabi to add spice and flare to a great set, The always charming Slowcoaster Gong Show, and Blue Quarter.... The venue was super - The "Lake" was a bit disappointing but was a good laugh in itself. The highlight may have been White's Convenience down the road from the festival... 4 of us half sleeping sprawled out randomly on their front step with the odd local driving by and gawking... fantastic... So anyway hope you enjoy the pics - The camera only came out for the Slowco. boys wish I had grabbed more shots but once one Tidby is tracked down I am sure more pics will be had....

Oh yeah .... recommendation for the cinematic viewing fans - Get "The Yes Men" www.theyesmen.org - a super documentary on these crazy kids who travel the world giving presentations on behalf of major corporations... but aren't actually from the corporations... a worthwhile investment - enjoy the managerial leisure suit... quite possibly my favorite...

Oh and we drummed up a dandy quote of the day at work...ready?? "There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research. This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them." I made it little so the chillin's couldn't read it.... right stacy, right........
