...it's foot stompin' wicked....

So here we are in the metropolis of Moncton New Brunswick - and what a city it is....
Heading out for a beer after work, we met some kids trying to get us to join'em for some hackysac, and then found ourselves in a face off with sample mats of 9 shots of various kinds of Pumphouse beers - At the Pumphouse Brewery. We recorded our observations... They are as follows:
Scotch Ale - "Tastes like liquid cardboard"
Muddy River Stout - "The stout that makes ya pout" - S "For a stout not so bad...umm... I need something that rhymes...ummm...give it a shout?...yeah...give it a shout" - J
S.O.B. Special Old Bitters - "Leaves ya bitter" - J "I'm still burpin' the muddy river" - S
Fire Cheif Red Ale - "It's Irish too" - J "It leaves a funny taste in your mouth" - S "It has a burny taste" - J
Dunkelvisen - " Pretty thick, berryliscious... oh ya" - J " Bring on the lederhosen, Jah" - S
Pail Ale - "...carbonation, right...wha...not tea bag" -S "Soda beer, what's up with that.... oh my god..my tongue’s numb... rahrahraaah...this gets no vote....jus' drink'er down....blaaahhh" - J
The Lite Stuff - "mine was bubbly" - S "My beer was flat" -J
Canadian Cream Ale - "Kinda tastes American" - J "I can definitely taste a hint of creamy-ness...not too bad'tall" -S
Blueberry Ale - " I think they put something in my beer" - J "That’s blueberries" -S "Right" - J "Sweet and Simple - Simple and Sweet....beauty" -J "ohh my jeez, it's delicious right - scrumptious... luscious.... LUSCIOUS JACKSON" -S

So that was out first stop - then we meandered down Main - Scored a duffel bag from random dude in Orange Shirt, We'll Call him Howard - Howard Johnson. Met some new friends - Then hit St. James’ Gate - Where we met Mary, and Pascal - who were aggressively trying to win the attention of one very questionable Quebec cop... very interesting lets say for kicks - Joanne found herself pity dirty dancing with Pascal which got a little out of control before she shut'er down - Then before we were almost dragged to Cosmo.... we feared for our lives - so we ran... we snuck 'round a corner and book'd 'er.... Then we met Randy Protrans - A kid who has to work in 4 hours - Just wanted to get out of 'er - So we took his picture and sent him on his way.....

Then we watched the Newspaper Place do it's thing for quite some time... mimicking the Wayne’s World Scene where they are in the factory with all the bottles and they put the glove on the bottle and watch it go round and Garth waves...... priceless.... unnecessary - but priceless....

Then we got to home base - ran into Howard Johnson who didn't recognize us - and we went stealth to here... Where Joanne currently lies on the floor because "it's cooler" right... right....

A thumbs up evening in Moncton...
Let's see what the Miramichi has to offer!
